Property Registration

To register a property (site or app) with InMobi, perform the following steps:

  1. Login to https://www.inmobi.com.
  2. Click the Publisher tab.
  3. Click My Sites/Apps in the left navigation bar.
  4. Click Register New Site/App.
  5. Registration is complete when a unique identifier (App ID or Site ID) is generated for the property (site/app).

InMobi currently supports the following platforms:

  • Android
  • iOS
  • Windows
  • Kindle Fire (Private Beta)
  • Mobile Web

Refer to the Registering Your Property By Platform section for details of registration for each supported platform.

Field Name Description
Platform Mandatory field that cannot be edited after registration.
Supported platforms and app stores:
App Name Mandatory field that can be edited at any time without any implications.
Property URL Optional at registration time. Mandatory to monetize. Can edit at any time, but edits will trigger approval process again.

Registering Your Property By Platform

Android

To register your Android app, perform the following steps:

  1. Go here. You will need to login to InMobi, if you have not done already.
  2. Select Yes or No against Is the app certified and available in Google Play (Android Market)? as appropriate.
  3. If your app is listed in Google Play, enter the market URL and complete registration by clicking Register App.
  4. If your app is listed in other Android app stores as shown in the table above, or is yet to be listed in the Google Play market, select No in Step 2 and enter the App Name and click Register App to complete the registration.

Note: You can add the market URL and make edits to the property later.


iOS

To register your iOS app, perform the following steps:

  1. Go here. You will need to login to InMobi, if you have not done already.
  2. Select Yes or No against Is this app certified and available in the Apple App Store? as appropriate.
  3. If your app is listed in the iTunes app store, enter the market URL and complete registration by clicking Register App.
  4. If your app is yet to be listed in the iTunes app store, select No in Step 2 and enter the App Name and click Register App to complete the registration.

Note: You can add the market URL and make edits to the property later.


Windows

To register your Windows app, perform the following steps:

  1. Go here. You will need to login to InMobi, if you have not done already.
  2. Select Yes or No against Is this app certified and available in Windows Marketplace? as appropriate.
  3. If your app is listed in the Windows Marketplace, enter the market URL and complete registration by clicking Register App.
  4. If your app is yet to be listed in the Windows Marketplace, select No in Step 2 and enter the App Name and click Register App to complete the registration.

Note: You can add the market URL and make edits to the property later.

Kindle Fire

To register your Kindle Fire app, perform the following steps:

  1. Go here. You will need to login to InMobi, if you have not done already.
  2. Select Yes or No against Is this app certified and available in the Amazon Appstore for Android? as appropriate.
  3. If your app is listed in the Amazon Appstore, enter the market URL and complete registration by clicking Register App.
  4. If your app is yet to be listed in the Amazon Appstore, select No in Step 2 and enter the App Name and click Register App to complete the registration.

Note: You can add the market URL and make edits to the property later.


Mobile Web

To register your mobile website, perform the following steps:

  1. Go here. You will need to login to InMobi, if you have not done already.
  2. Enter the Site Name. Site name can be alphanumeric.
  3. Enter Site URL. Please enter a valid URL if it is available at the time of registration.
  4. Select a preferred ad formats. We recommend that you use Text & Banner Ads so that InMobi can maximize demand opportunities for your property.
  5. Select the most appropriate site category
  6. Click Register Site to complete the registration.

Note: You can make edits to the property later.
