What Are Your Responsibilities at InMobi?
As a tech leader, my role is to nurture innovation as more and more telcos are tying up with InMobi to elevate experiences for their customers, scale business growth and monetize their digital assets. This involves ensuring that visually attractive Android and iOS apps are developed that are backed by big data systems that carry live content.
What Has Been Your Professional Journey So Far?
I have over 20 years of experience working with startups. I have had long stints at BlueJeans Network and Sling Media, and numerous other shorter stints. Along the way, I had the opportunity to work with top talent and raised high-performing teams. My love for problem-solving and search for excellence motivated me to co-author 12 patents in the fields of video streaming and P2P connectivity.
What Motivated You To Join InMobi?
Before accepting joining the company, I did research on InMobi’s ability to hire and nurture lateral hires for leadership roles. I found that incredible systematic support from in-house experts is available to all employees and learning fast while making a few mistakes is enabled and encouraged at InMobi. Expertise is spread across all the levels in the organization and not clustered at the top. These findings exceeded my expectations and that’s what motivated me to join InMobi.
Little Known Facts About You?
I enjoy playing tennis or going for a run every day. When indoors, I prefer watching movies and playing on the PlayStation. I am also a part of a motorbike group that takes up cross-country rides, hones off-roading skills and teaches emergency bike repair skills. The unifying theme in this group is helping needy neighborhood schools through renovation support and equipment purchase.
