As a mobile app publisher largely focused on casual and hypercasual games, GOODROID primarily monetizes through in-app advertising. While they are based in Japan, GOODROID’s apps are also popular across the world, in locations such as the United States, Australia and South Korea, among others.
How GOODROID and InMobi Work Together

To ensure maximum demand for its banner, interstitial and rewarded video ad slots, GOODROID utilizes in-app header bidding through both ironSource and MAX. InMobi’s global demand, proven in-app expertise and connections with all major in-app header bidding platforms made them an ideal monetization partner for GOODROID.

At the beginning, GOODROID only used InMobi to monetize its casual gaming apps. Since their casual and hypercasual games are popular across the world, they were looking for a partner capable of providing sufficient demand across many different geographies – but especially in the U.S., where casual games are popular. Later, they included the popular Manga app into the mix. By 2021, InMobi helped GOODROID monetize 19 different app titles globally.

To measure the success of the partnership, the GOODROID team keeps a close eye on the bottom line. GOODROID is looking to see consistent, high revenue growth from their in-app ad monetization efforts.

Results

Overall, GOODROID has seen strong growth from their InMobi partnership. Between January and May 2020, monthly revenue was up 184%, with 142% growth between March and April and then and additional 119% growth from April to May of that year. In addition, GOODROID sees fill rates as high as 97% and render rates as high as 96% from InMobi for some of their most popular titles.
