InMobi increases focus on publisher and developer business; Anne Frisbie takes on new role as Head of Global Supply

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 30, 2012 

   Today, InMobi, the leader in mobile-first technology platforms, and the largest independent mobile ad network, announced the appointment of Anne Frisbie as Vice President and General Manager, Global Supply. Frisbie was previously InMobi’s Vice President and Managing Director, North America. “InMobi’s best in class technology, optimization, data platform and analytics enable us to deliver the highest quality experiences to our advertisers, publishers and developers by providing the most relevant and effective ads to consumers. Frisbie’s fifteen years of experience in digital media include her previous role at Yahoo!, where she served as Vice President of Category and Sales Intelligence and was charged with leading Yahoo's advertising sales strategy for its most important categories that accounted for a majority of the company’s revenue. She helped found an online shopping service in 1996 that was ultimately funded by CMP Media, and then she focused on local search in 1997 at Zip2 Corporation where she served as a Director of Publisher Development. Zip2 was acquired by AltaVista in 1998. Frisbie worked at AltaVista as a Director of Strategic Alliances, and then later ran sales and business development for the company until it was sold to Overture in early 2003. Prior to her work in digital media, she was an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs. Ms. Frisbie received her B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University. Frisbie was selected as one of Business Insider’s Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising in 2012, and one of Mobile Entertainment Magazine’s Top 10 Women in Mobile in 2011. She is an active member in the mobile community, and is on the MMA’s North America Board of Directors and the board of the IAB’s Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence. Additionally, Frisbie is a member of the Bay Area Advisory Council for Common Sense Media, which is dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology.
