Glance Gets Recognized as the Enabling Technology Company of the Year

Zomato Strikes Gold with Nostalgic Storytelling on Glance’s Smart Lock Screen 

It’s no secret that most of our favorite dishes have a story behind them. They hold the power to take us back to a certain place or moment in time, forming some of our – best  memories. The front page of the mobile acted as a delightful reminder of the same in Zomato’s campaign, highlighting in-app offerings and teasing the taste buds of a diverse customer base. Leveraging native storytelling – one of the company’s strongest suits – Zomato took over Glance’s smart lock screen and led foodies to their favorite dishes through topical and relatable content and seamless deep links. Catchy one-liners, quirky quips, and memes delivered through notifications on screen zero helped shape narratives, and high personalization increased relatability.  

The outcome surpassed all expectations, with the campaign garnering 2.5 billion impressions and 19 million clicks, engaging 60 million unique users month on month across various geographies and demographics. Take a deep dive into their objective and strategy here. 

Swiggy Entices Foodies Through the “One-Click Install” 

Imagine a world where your food cravings were answered at a moment’s notice, all from a single glance at your phone. Turning this into a reality and aiming to acquire new customers, Swiggy partnered with InMobi and Glance to identify potential audiences and show them highly personalized ads on the smart lock screen segmented by regions and time zones. On clicking the CTA “Install Now,” the Swiggy app was directly downloaded onto the user’s phone without unlocking the device, owing to Glance’s one-click install feature. While an irresistible welcome offer played a huge role in driving action, it was the relatability through local delicacies and the timing of the ads that took the cake.  

The platform saw a 29% increase in first orders on food delivery month on month and a 30% lower cost per new user. Get a glimpse of how Swiggy achieved this feat here. 

Nerolac Connects Digital-first Audiences to Local Dealers 

How can one entice digital-first audiences into visiting offline destinations? The answer lies in Nerolac’s “Har Din Diwali” campaign, which effectively bridged the gap between online and offline, thus boosting footfalls and visibility for over 5,000 of its local dealers and distributors. By partnering with Interactive Avenues and InMobi, Nerolac leveraged full-screen rich media interstitials with dynamic creative optimization, reaching 3.69 million unique users. Shown to the right audiences at the right time during their journey on various apps, the ads grabbed attention by letting one decorate a virtual living room with interactive elements. The brand message followed suit, along with an exciting offer entailing gold coins that further drew attention to all three CTAs.  

The results? Phenomenal! Nerolac recorded a stellar 49% growth in sales volume of super premium products across registered dealers and a 2.1x higher CTR compared to industry standards. Know more about the campaign here
