InMobi Recognized for Campaign Execution; Innovative Rich Media Creative; and Industry Leading Research SINGAPORE – 16th October 2012:

InMobi, the leading innovator in mobile advertising and the largest independent mobile ad network, has been recognized with three 2012 Smarties™ Awards from the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA)—some of the most prestigious awards in the industry. InMobi campaign awards are:

  • Global Mobile Campaign Gold Award for Kia Motors (INNOCEAN WORLDWIDE) campaign in Europe
  • Global Bronze Award, Brand Awareness for Dove Hair campaign in Singapore
  • Global Academic—Best Research or Insight Award

The Kia Motors (INNOCEAN WORLDWIDE) mobile rich media ad campaign, running in 14 languages, was recognized for excellent execution in raising brand awareness for the Kia Cee’d across 16 countries participating in the Euro 2012 soccer tournament. The campaign achieved viral video distribution and drove consumers to the Kia Cee’d mobile page to complete user polls and share the content via social media. The winner of the Brand Awareness Global Bronze Award, the “Dove Hairfall Rescue Mobile Campaign” was the result of collaboration between Dove Hair (Unilever Singapore Pte Ltd), Mindshare Singapore, and InMobi. The InMobi creative services team built the ad in the InMobi Studio HTML5 visual authoring platform, which produces powerful rich media creative through a simple drag-and-drop interface. The third win for InMobi was the Global Academic—Best Research or Insight Award for unique and significant research insights that drive the growth of the mobile marketing industry. Chief among the InMobi research that prompted this award was the global Mobile Media Consumption report. InMobi’s research studies, driven through interviews and surveys with leading players across the mobile advertising and digital media industries, have helped raise awareness of the issues facing the mobile marketing sector, and gleaned fresh insight into consumer behavior, mindset and expectations. Shrikant Latkar, Vice President, Global Marketing at InMobi, commented, “We are absolutely delighted to receive these awards alongside our customers and agencies.
