A UK-wide partnership that covers the breadth of InMobi platforms, including InMobi Studio, InMobi Ad Tracker and buying media on the InMobi Ad Network

InMobi, the largest independent mobile advertising network today announced a partnership with MEC UK, Media360’s ‘Media Agency of the Decade’ that counts Paramount, Lloyds TSB, and EE on its roster. The partnership will see MEC UK deploy the InMobi Studio rich media ad platform for ad creation. The InMobi Studio rich media ad platform has already been utilised by MEC UK to create ads for its EE mobile launch campaign. In addition, MEC UK ran the ads on the InMobi mobile ad network. MEC UK’s advertising work with EE was one of the biggest ad campaigns of 2012 and the first mobile campaign to announce the brand existed. The key objective was to communicate the launch of EE as the UK’s first 4G network, bringing faster data speeds to EE customers far in advance of any other UK network. The mobile rich media ads included a network speed test that showed users their current, 3G, speed and how much faster their connection would be if they joined EE. MEC UK has also used the InMobi Studio platform to create multiple campaigns for the BBC, including one to promote the Nick Grimshaw breakfast show that spoofed a phone call from the Radio 1 DJ and then directed users to the Radio 1 mobile website where they could listen live to the show. Additionally, in order to gauge the success of such platforms and campaign activity, MEC UK is evaluating the InMobi Ad Tracker. This innovative solution anonymously matches mobile ad clicks to downloads (on both mobile web and app campaigns) to better track and measure conversions in real time, across all advertising networks and publishers, giving agencies and planners unparalleled insight into the success of their campaigns.
