Yahoo Veteran Daesun Kim Joins InMobi to Scale Korea Operations

Kim’s Extensive Insight on the Region and Industry Tapped to Fuel the Next Phase of Growth in Korea

Seoul, South Korea, November 11, 2013 – InMobi, the world’s largest independent mobile ad network, today announced Daesun Kim as the new General Manager of Korea. Since launching services in Korea in 2011, InMobi has seen a 200% year-on-year growth in the region for two consecutive years.

Kim joins InMobi with over 21 years of experience, holding country leadership positions at Yahoo Korea & Overture Korea Ltd., Dinno Communications, and Serome Technology.

Kim earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States and has vast business experience across sales & marketing, technology, acquisitions and people operations. At Yahoo & Overture Korea, he successfully restructured the organizations for profit maximization.

Kim replaces Seungyeon Kim in Korea who has transitioned to the position of Vice President and Head of Performance Business at InMobi, Japan and Asia Pacific.
