Selecta, Unilever's beloved ice cream brand, is sold in more than 40 countries worldwide and is well-known for its creamy, authentically flavored ice creams and unique gold-tub packaging, that has stood the test of time since the brand’s origination in Manila, Philippines in 1948.
As the Philippines sees scorching summers every year, Filipinos love indulging in Selecta’s range of ice creams to beat the heat. Last summer, the brand wished to promote their bestseller ice cream, Choco Almond Fudge, through the increasingly preferred channel by consumers – the mobile.
Selecta partnered with InMobi to launch a mobile-first campaign that effectively engage consumers and nudged them to purchase the ice cream at their nearest stores. Additionally, they launched a brand lift study to measure the impact that mobile had in driving incredible results for the brand.
